Mathilde Granger

Mathilde qualified as a vet in 2002 from the National Veterinary School of Alfort in France. She passed her Intership in small animal medicine and surgery at the same vet school, and continued to study in surgery there for another year. After this specialisation, she worked as a general small animal practitioner initially in Paris then in Cambridge, within a 24h emergency service. Working in this challenging setting increased her interest in pain management, rehabilitation and recovery after surgery.

She passed her Diploma of Animal Physiotherapy in October 2012. For four years, she set up the physiotherapy service at Langford Vets and developed the rehabilitation centre in association with the hydrotherapy unit and the pain clinic. Late 2016, she decided to set up her own business VET&PHYSIO to bring physiotherapy and rehabilitation closer to the patients. She is currently offering home visits for all aspects of physiotherapy, rehab, and sports medicine. She particularly enjoys helping old arthritic patients. “I am still amazed how much a well-designed physio and pain management plan can improve their mobility and well being”.

Audrey Chanoit MVDr, MRCVS, MSc Microsurgery, CES Ophthalmology RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary Ophthalmology

Audrey qualified from the School of Veterinary Science in Lyon, France in 1999. She completed an internship in Small Animal Surgery and, while working in the Surgery Department at the University; she completed a Masters in Microsurgery. Her love of Microsurgery and Ophthalmology naturally brought her to complete the Certificate in Veterinary Ophthalmology of Toulouse in 2002. She then worked for several years in a referral practice in France seeing patients in Surgery and Ophthalmology. After living in North Carolina, USA for 4 years, Audrey and her family – her husband and 4 children – moved to Bristol in 2010… and she hasn’t moved since!

Audrey is currently a Teaching Fellow in Veterinary Ophthalmology at Bristol University and is seeing patients for us every week on Thursday at our Clevedon branch. She loves all aspects of ophthalmology and is passionate about communicating it to the owners and students!

When she is not busy with her children, the tropical fishes and the guinea pigs, Audrey enjoys activities related to her other passion: the sea (sailing and diving).
